Stairs from the Sixties in front of Euston Station

Interesting staircase in front of Euston Station

Euston Station is a bit of a disaster as a piece of architecture. The 1960s structure replaced the original spectacular station which, as far as I can determine, was a glorious bit of Victoriana comparable to Grand Central in New York. There is not much to see these days at Euston, however, I really like this staircase into the office block attached to the front of the station. I think this office block is the home of Rail Track or Network Rail or British Rail (the names change frequently) or another company that, after a fashion, runs the national rail network.
