The Hoover Building in Perivale in West London is, in my view, one of the best of London's Art Deco buildings. I'm not sure when it was vacated by Hoover - maybe only in the 90s when they managed to bankrupt their European operation by giving away free flights to the US with vacuum cleaners. Since then it has become a Tesco supermarket which seems a shame at first but then, when you think about it, I suppose it would have been demolished or allowed to fall apart had it not been taken over by Tesco.
