Preserved WWII Ruins

Well I can't really say I'm knocked out by this picture. Nonetheless I wanted to include it as it is such a powerful memorial. In the old centre of West Berlin the WWII damage has been left intact as a reminder of the whole disaster. And, that block to the lower right also reminds us that the East didn't have a complete monopoly on dreadful architecture. Next Image or Back to Berlin Gallery
