The Salvation Army HQ in South London

Glowering sky behind the Sally Army HQ

The William Booth Memorial Training College and Salvation Army HQ was designed by Giles Gilbert Scott and you can certainly see echoes of his industrial masterpieces, Battersea and Bankside power stations - the latter now housing the Tate Modern. On the whole I found this place a touch on the spooky side with its feeling of a religious barracks. Go to Next Image or Previous Image or LDN Gallery
