Sunshine and Shadow on the Trellick Tower

Designed by Erno Goldfinger and built in the late 60s The Trellick Tower at one time, along with the now demolished Queensbridge Estate in Hackney, symbolised all that was wrong with high rise living. The Sun 'newspaper' used to call it The Tower of Terror and its corridors were by all accounts filled with junkies, muggers and rapists. These days it is a mix of public and privately owned flats and is one of the more desirable locations in West London. Go to Next Image or Previous Image or LDN Gallery
